Ce volume rassemble les contributions présentées à la table ronde « Archéologie française à Chypre », qui s'est réunie à Lyon en novembre 1991. Il donne l'image de la participation qu'ont prise les institutions de recherche françaises à l'histoire et à l'archéologie de Chypre, depuis les débuts de l'activité archéologique au XIXe s., et il contribue à évaluer les perspectives internationales qui s'ouvrent aujourd'hui pour développer ces recherches.
This volume contains the contributions presented at the Symposium « French Archaeology in Cyprus », which met in Lyons on November 1991. It gives an image of the participation of the French research institutions concerned with the history and archaeology of Cyprus from the beginning of their archaeological activity in the XIXth century, and contributes to the evaluation of the international perspectives which are open today for the development of this research.
